I am so overwhelmed with my cluttered house! What can I do?
ive been in your shoes more than once!start in one small area and do it little by little with alot of breaks,and dont start another area until you finish that area!the part that overwhelms people is jumping from one thing to another and before you know it your already worn out without seeing any progress!so if you do one small area at a time you will see what youve done and feel better about what you are doing!hope this helps!god bless ya!

Have you ever had this dark cloud hanging over your head? You can't quite put your finger on what it is. You look around but you don't really see the problem? You just feel "blah". Each day it seems to get worse. Your mind seems cloudy and foggy. Have you ever thought that the problem with your motivation is the clutter in your house? Clutter weighs you down and clutters your mind.
Have you ever had this experience? Your children are happily playing in a room while you are cleaning a different room. How to de-clutter and prevent hoarding and bring myself to through things out?
I wouldn't consider myself OCD for hoarding as I don't have an awful lot of possesions. I have a tidy room and a bit of stuff in my closet and a few boxes in the garage, not a crazy messy house spilling with stuff if thats what one pictures of a hoarder(not too anxious about it too),but I am trying to declutter my life and need a little help here!I have in the past kept things because I think I will need them in the future habit from my mom i think, now I am trying to be ruthless because I want simplicity and space and organisation, should I throw away old school work papers/books too?

Cleaning a cluttered house!?
I dunno what to do anymore.. we are clean the house is clean. its just little spots of clutter.... most of it is putting things outta my sons reach. so those areas look all cluttered. and we have tons of papers. to be shredded just dont have a shredder.we have boxes in the closet with some of the stuff that we have like sentimental and stuff. even that is getting all messy.what are some tips to declutter, it is all getting on my nerves.
